Description
A classic example of the type, forged entirely of steel. The gauntlet with molded wrist rim and profiled terminal, retaining numerous original steel dangles. The robust blade straight, double-edged and long, wrought with narrow fullers. 17th century. Small spot of wear-through to gauntlet. Overall length 130 cm. Condition III
