Possibly Qing Dynasty, the handforged steel blade of characteristic form, with cusped spine and hardened edge, inlaid with copper and struck with Buddhist swastikas. The bronze socket wrought as a fully-modelled dragon’s head with guard and ferrule. On its haft with bronze buttcap. 20th century. Well worn. Overall length 152.5 cm. Condition IV
