The hilt wrought entirely of silver, the grips and pommel engraved overall, the guard with original silver chain guard intact. The fine heirloom Persian blade with profiled tip broad and single-edged, and wrought of dramatically-patterned, high contrast Persian black wootz. Latter 19th century. Light wear. Overall length 86.8 cm. Condition III
