Qing Dynasty, the handforged steel blade of characteristic trident form, with well-profiled tang, the gilded bronze socket wrought as a fully-modelled dragon’s head, the socket with molded rings. On its tapered teak haft. Mid-19th century. Light wear, gilding worn, haft slightly warped. Overall length 181 cm. Condition II
