The polished bone grips with geometrical borders, and incised with the name of a Southern Chinese shipping concern, and dated in the third year of the Guangxu Emperor, Qing Dynasty (1878 c.e.) With broad, leaf-shaped blade grooved in the center. Dated 1878. Overall length 28.5 cm. Condition III
