Description
Of characteristic form, the grip carved of a single section of walrus. The straight, continuously-tapering blade with traces of damascus forging, paneled and wrought with a trefoil at the forte on either side. In its leather-covered wooden scabbard with embossed and engraved silver mounts, each bearing Ottoman hallmarks. 19th century. Overall length 46.7 cm. Condition II
