Description
The hilt deeply engraved and superbly nielloed. The lightly-curved, handforged blade broad and multifullered, with long tip and pebbled surface, etched at the right forte with the Imperial Russian cypher of Tsar Nikolai II, a crowned H above II with foliate panels. In its leather-covered wooden scabbard with large silver mounts engraved and nielloed en suite with the hilt. Overall length 94.5 cm. Leather scuffed. Condition II
