German work, designed to protect the hands from knuckle to forearm. The pointed cuffs with deeply embossed panels originally polished bright, the borders rolled and roped. The lames articulated, profiled and likewise embossed. First quarter of the 17th century. Worn. Overall height 24cm. Condition III
