Description
The hilt of characteristic form, the elephant grips with fingerstalls and tassel intact, the engraved brass guard with rolled quillons. The fine, long, curved, single-edged blade engraved overall and serrated along both edges, with characteristic bifurcated and profiled tip. Retains its sharp edge. 18th century. Light wear, repair to pommel. Overall length 99.2 cm. Condition III
