The characteristic grip carved of a single large section of walrus, the curved, double-edged blade with high central ridge finely inlaid in gold at the forte with Arabic inscriptions. In its velvet-covered wooden scabbard with heavily gilded tombak mounts, the tip set with a coral. 18th-19th century. Velvet worn. Overall length 48 cm. Condition II
