Description
The forged steel head decorated and profiled, the nickeled haft with filework, terminating in a handle with bone and horn grips. Early 20th century. Light wear overall. The folding lohar was easily concealed yet quickly flicked open at need. It saw sustained use against British mounted units during the Afghan Wars. Overall length 34 cm. Condition II
