A massive example with polished bone grip and leather scabbard. Brass mounts, the guard and locket with lengthy Gaelic inscriptions. Straight, continuously-tapering handwrought blade with false edge, struck at the forte with a maker’s mark of K above an anvil. 20th century or earlier. Overall length 50 cm. Condition I
