Description
Spanish work, the triangular steel guard finely pierced and embossed with scrolling vinework. With lightly domed pommel, broad guard with slightly expanded terminals, and copper-bound wooden grip with traces of leather covering. The long, double-edged blade with central fuller to either side, etched EN TOLEDO with clusters of stars. First half of the 17th century. Overall wear. Overall length 62.5 cm. Condition II
