The hardwood stock of characteristic form with checkered wrist. The fine flintlock mechanism engraved, the massive barrel wrought of pattern-welded damascus steel and deeply inlaid with silver vinework. Late 18th century. Minor wear, chip to forearm. Overall length 49.3 cm.
