Description
The rosewood stock set with elephant panels at the butt and breechblock, each with birdseye motifs tinted with colored inks. The sideplates profiled and fitted with a match extinguisher and retaining its chain for a vent pick (lacking.) The long barrel engraved, with finely chiseled muzzle of lotus form, retained by rare original rattan bands. Early 18th century. Worn, minor losses. Overall length 186.3cm. Condition III
