A large example of characteristic form, made of hide laced to a central wooden post with integral grip, the edges bound to stripped branches and hammered-iron rods with tightly-coiled hide. The obverse painted in geometrical patterns using organic pigments. Early 20th century. Overall length 91cm. Condition III
