An earlier and unusually large example, with elaborately crested pommel, ferrule and scabbard, the obverse wrought entirely of silver and engraved overall and set with a blue gem in the grip, with curved, single-edged blade. Mid-19th century. Overall length 45.9cm. Condition IV
