Description
The steel bowl elaborately chiseled overall in vinework motifs, with bands of addorsed birds, all finely inlaid in gold, and calligraphy inlaid in silver, the adjustable nasal with elaborately-profiled finials, plume tubes and top spike likewise inlaid in gold. The camail wrought of iron rings, covering the brow and falling in acute points at the sides and back. Mid 19th century. Height including camail 51cm. PatinaTed overall. Condition III
