Description
Likely made at Mecca, the horn grips with characteristic rolled pommel. The iron guard decorated with brass, the blade of with inlaid mark and spear tip, showing traces of wootz forging. In its leather-covered wooden scabbard with large iron mounts embellished with brass en suite with the hilt. 20th century. Worn. Overall length 92cm. Condition III
