Description
German or Dutch, the skull forged with radiating flutes and a ring finial mounted through a circular top plate. With separately-applied peak with captured, adjustable nasal retained by a large set-screw, large earguards and four-lame neckguard, all with rolled borders. Retains most original black painted finish overall. Mid- 17th century. Overall height 29.8cm. Condition III
