The adjustable nasal retained by a profiled set screw, the spike finial with finely pierced and gold-inlaid mount, and a pair of plume holders, likewise embellished with gold inlay. The lengthy camail wrought of small riveted rings, with six pointed terminals. Retains its original padded fabric lining. Late 16th-early 17th century. Gold inlays well worn, plume tubes replaced in the 19th century, minor hole behind plume tube, repairs to camail. Height 46.3cm. Condition III
