Description
Crafted from a single section of bone, and elaborately carved overall with a pastoral scene involving three hunters, one with bow blowing a horn and two with boar spears, the last drinking
from a flask. All executed in Mannerist style, amongst geometrical panels and bands. The turned spout of dark hardwood. With iron ring mounts. Late 16th-early 17th century. Minor wear, the caps and spout possibly replaced. Overall length 25cm. Condition III
