The Hellene interpretation of an Ottoman prototype: a straight, robust, double-edged and bifullered blade, with horn grip inclined more toward a waisted profile. In its velvet-covered wooden sheath, the engraved brass mounts with typical point-shaded Greek baroque vinework motifs. Mid-19th century. Worn. Overall length 37cm. Condition III
