Description
An excellent example of German work, wrought entirely of steel, the head composed of six cusped steel flanges, one struck with a maker’s mark. The solid, hexagonal haft expands toward the butt, the grip wrenched and terminating in a substantial cap. 16th century or later. Cleaned with remains of corrosion. Overall length 55.2cm.
