The handwrought, pattern-welded damascus steel head of characteristic form with flared and pierced lower terminals and moldings to base. Retained to the polished hardwood haft with a long, finely embossed and engraved silver ferrule. Retains its wooden sheath. 18th-19th century. Overall length 147cm. Condition II
