An earlier than average example, carved of a large, actively-grained hardwood limb. The characteristic expanded head with central ridge to either side, deeply notched, with a short crest at the tip. Good patina. 19th century or earlier. Worn, head chipped. Overall length 70.6 cm. Condition III
