Description
Likely Prussian, with three-bar guard and ribbed leather grip with twisted copper wire wrap. The exceptionally long, lightly-curved blade with broad central fuller etched with stands of arms and flowers, gilded and blued. In its brass scabbard with twin suspension bands and iron frog. Early 19th century. Toning to blade, minor scuffing to scabbard, chape pitted. Overall length 94 cm. Condition II
