A superior example, the stock elaborately carved and inlaid with silver in vine motifs, with silver buttcap, sideplate and barrel sleeve deeply embossed and chased, the lock, triggerguard and barrel finely chiseled en suite. Mid 18th century. Minor wear, some play to mounts. Overall length 52cm. Condition II
