A rare example, of characteristic form with bifurcate hilt carved of a single section of horn and petaled ferrule and bolster and exceptionally well-wrought blade, deeply fullered with raised chamfered edge and backedge. First half of the 19th century. Minor wear. Overall length 80.5cm. Condition III
