Qing Dynasty. The straight, single-edged, handwrought blade with pronounced upswept tip and back-edge, a variant of the yanmaodao form. The hilt with bronze pommel and circular, lobed guard, with polished wood grip. 18th century. As found. Overall length 83.5cm. Condition IV
