Description
Wrought entirely of steel, with balustered grips and rails with ogival terminals, inlaid with vinework in gold. The robust blade forged of actively-patterned wootz steel finely chiseled with a horseman hunting a charging tiger and an elephant on each side, all finely highlighted in gold and terminating in an armor-piercing tip. Early 19th century. Well worn, losses to gold. Overall length 46.5cm. Condition IV
