Of characteristic form, the grip carved of a single section of walrus with silver mounts. The straight, continuously-tapering blade with paired fullers wrought of fine black wootz. In its velvet-covered wooden scabbard with embossed and engraved silver mounts, each bearing Ottoman hallmarks. 19th century. Loss to grip, minor pitting to blade. Overall length 36.8cm. Condition II
