Sepik River region, the long, finely-balanced hardwood haft carved overall with curvilinear motifs and tapering continuously to the butt. Mounted with a rare steel blade adapted from a single-edged European sword, fastened to the haft by woven rattan bands. Beginning of the 20th century.Worn overall. Overall length 206 cm.
