The broad, double edged blade wrought of finely-patterned wootz, and heavily fullered, with strong median ridge developing into a large armor-piercing tip, with pronounced guard and bolster heavily embellished with inlaid gold in vinework motifs. The steel haft with terminals elaborately inlaid in gold en suite. 19th century. Minor wear. Overall length 60cm. Condition III
