A rare example, the carved hardwood hilt of characteristic form with bands of silver wire wrap to grip and guard, the single-edged blade straight, broad, and thick, with ogival tip. Retains its carved wooden scabbard. Mid 18th-early 19th century. Minor wear and losses. Overall length 61.8cm. Condition II
