An early example, with finely patinated elephant grips decorated with talismanic birdeye borders and lotus-form pommel, the robust blade wrought of fine wootz, lightly recurved, with multiple fullers and thickened armor-piercing tip. 16th-17th c. Worn, minor losses to grips, blade with areas of corrosion. Overall length 26.2cm. Condition IV
