Description
Wrought of steel with profiled finial and inlaid overall in gold with tulips, dragons heads and Ottoman inscriptions. The lash woven of gilt cord with large medallion and oval terminal. When the handle finial is retraced, a sprung blade decorated with gold-inlaid dragons is released, locking in place. First half of the 19th c. Light wear. Overall length 95.7cm. Condition II
