Description
The finely-wrought hilt with complex guard involving multiple branches, the main guard and knucklebow with expanded center curled pas d’ane. The flattened scent-bottle pommel with baluster button, grip retains its twisted iron wire wrap and ferrules. The fine, long blade of complex section wrought with three short fullers at the forte transitioning to two fullers which terminate near the tip. Latter 18th c. Overall length 110.1cm. Condition II
