Of characteristic hemispherical form with top spike, adjustable nasal bar, and plume tubes, finely embellished with engraved spiral bands of flowering vines highlighted in gold and silver, the broad borders containing Arabic inscriptions heightened with silver inlay. Retains its camail of iron rings with pointed termini. Mid-19th c. Minor losses to mail. Height including camail 56cm. Condition III
