Description
Likely Flemish, the two-piece skull with high, roped comb, the well-formed visor with a pair of embossed parabola and bevor sharing a common pivot as is typical, the visor with raising stud and distinct ridge beneath the ocularia, the bevor with rolled and roped upper edge, secured by a hook. The gorget composed of two pairs of lames with turned edges and riveted borders, with a closing hook to the right side. C. 1550-1600. Brown rusted overall.
