Neapolitan work, the grip of alternating segments of light and dark horn with engraved silver spacers, ferrule and pommel. With balustered base and blade of hexagonal section, the broad forte finely chiseled with a dog on one side and scrolling vinework on the other. In its leather sheath lacking mounts. 18th century. 31.7cm overall length. Condition II
