With large, squared ears of elephant, in the Balkan style, mounted in embossed and engraved silver. The well-wrought, fullered blade inlaid with inscriptions in silver, including WORK OF GHATMAN OWNER MEHMET 1221 (1805/6.) In its leather-covered wooden scabbard with metal mounts. Dated 1805/6. Light wear, grips slightly loose, scabbard well worn. Overall length 71cm. Condition III
