A rare example of classic form, wrought of silver with rococo borders set with superbly-embossed and engraved gilded silver panels depicting doves, symbolizing the Holy Spirit, and a central panel depicting a crowned eagle or Aetos Dios. Dating to the era of the Greek War of Independence. First quarter of the 19th century. Overall length 17cm.
