A fine Revolutionary-era example of Epirus workmanship, the entire stock of silver, chiseled, engraved and nielloed in intricate baroque motifs involving garlands and floral sprays, together with the Byzantine double-headed eagle crest and lion’s heads throughout. The Italian lock with chiseled work and well-formed cock with engraved borders, the barrel of octagonal section. Late 18th-early 19th century. Overall length 36cm. Very light wear, barrel pitted at breech. Condition III
