Mughal work, with Persiform steel hilt inlaid in gold and silver, the pommel set with rubies. The broad, moderately curved blade forged of two wootz ingots displaying great complexity. In its later leather-covered scabbard. Mid-18th c. Minor wear to gold and silver inlay. Overall length 92.7cm. Condition III
