Of characteristic form, the stippled grips with rolled pommel, with engraved silver tangband and broad guard. The broad, lightly-curved, single-edged heirloom blade wrought of fine actively-patterned Persian black wootz. In its leather-covered wooden scabbard with large, silver mounts. Early 19th century. Grips with minor chips at base. Overall length 96.3cm. Condition III
