A massive example of main gauche type, typically used in conjunction with a rapier. The grip composed of layers of translucent horn, with silvered knuckle- and crossguard. The broad, straight, double-edged blade with central ridge and long, tapered tip. 18th c. Light wear, losses to silver. Overall length 44.4cm. Condition III
