An unusually large example of above average quality, the engraved brass hilt with steel ferrule and deeply-bellied, single-edged blade elaborately engraved and inlaid with brass panels and robust armor-piercing tip. In its elaborately carved wooden scabbard with iron mounts. First half of the 19th century. Minor wear. Overall length 107.7cm. Condition II
