A large example, the steel hilt chiseled in a diaper pattern with gilding on a silvered ground. The broad, single-edged blade forged of finely-patterned damascus wootz steel. In its velvet-covered wooden scabbard with gilded mounts. Mid-19th century. Overall length 47.5cm. Condition II
