A massive example, with trilobate pommel, guard with relief work and ornate quillon terminals and twisted wire-wrapped wooden grip. The long, double-edged blade of flattened diamond section with short fuller, struck at the forte with a maker’s mark. Late 19th-early 20th century. Overall length 123.6cm. Condition III
